About this shelter
Greener Pastures Farm Sanctuary in Whitesboro, TX
Greener Pastures Farm Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) animal shelter located in Whitesboro, Texas, roughly 70 miles south of Dallas, spread across 17 acres of rolling hills. Founded by Pam Magalhaes, the sanctuary was created to provide a safe haven for rescued farm animals in need of care and protection, following a rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome philosophy for abused and neglected animals. Current residents include horses, a mix of other farm animals of varying ages, all cared for through community support, volunteers, and partnerships. The sanctuary is open daily from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, welcoming visitors, volunteers, and donors who want to help give these animals a second chance at life.
