About this shelter

Pawsitive Place Rescue in Tyler, TX

Pawsitive Place Rescue is a nonprofit rescue organization based in Tyler, Texas, open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and located roughly 90 miles east of Shreveport, LA. Operated entirely by dedicated animal lovers, the organization rescues, rehabilitates, and rehomes dogs who have suffered neglect, abuse, or abandonment, and it actively pulls at-risk animals from local shelters to help them avoid euthanasia. Its mission centers on giving each dog individualized attention to understand their unique personality and needs before matching them with a forever home, and staff remain in contact with adopters even after the adoption is complete. As a registered Texas Domestic Nonprofit and IRS 501(c)(3) public charity, donations to support vaccinations, food, and spay/neuter surgeries for the dogs in its care may be tax-deductible.
