About this shelter
Second Chance Ranch Rescue in New Boston, NH
Second Chance Ranch Rescue is a dog rescue organization located in New Boston, New Hampshire, about 15 miles east of Manchester. The rescue focuses on rehabilitating and finding forever homes for lost, forgotten, or misunderstood dogs, with particular attention to helping bully-type breeds overcome misconceptions that hinder their adoption. Dogs at the Ranch receive conditioning, socialization, and basic training while they wait to be matched with the right family, and the rescue uses a thorough adopter evaluation process—including adopter education and integration plans—to reduce return and failure rates. Visits are by appointment only, and the organization remains committed to supporting adopting families for the life of the dog.
