About this shelter
Nevada SPCA in Las Vegas, NV
Nevada SPCA is a humane society located in Las Vegas, Nevada, about 6 miles northeast of the city, serving as the region's original no-kill shelter since 1982. It offers dogs, cats, rabbits, and small animals for adoption on a walk-in basis, and supports the community through pet pantry food assistance, low- or no-cost veterinary care, foster care, and owner-surrender resources. As an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit not affiliated with the ASPCA, it relies entirely on donations and grants rather than government funding, and holds Charity Navigator's highest 4-star rating along with Candid's Platinum Seal of Transparency. The shelter is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
