About this shelter

Pork N Beans Animal Rescue in Amboy, IL

Pork N Beans Animal Rescue is a rescue organization located in Amboy, Illinois, about 45 miles northeast of Rockford. It operates as both a rescue and a sanctuary, taking in domestic and farmed animals—everything from dogs and cats to farm animals—that have nowhere else to go, with a mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome them whenever possible. Some animals that aren't suited for rehoming are given a permanent home to live out their lives on the organization's farm. Pork N Beans is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that relies on adoption, sponsorship, donations, and community engagement to support its work.
