Adoption Process
View available animals and complete an online pre-application, then have an interview, meet the pet in person by appointment, and if approved, pay the adoption fee ($300 for dogs, $400-500 for purebreds, $125 for cats) to take the pet home.

The Humane Society and SPCA of Clayton County Inc is a no-kill animal rescue facility serving the southern metro-Atlanta area, located in Clayton, Georgia, about 15 miles north of Atlanta. It welcomes visitors on Saturdays from 12:00 to 4:00 PM. As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, it relies on donations and volunteers to fund veterinary care, sterilization, microchipping, and vaccinations for every cat and dog before adoption, with dogs also tested for heartworms and cats for feline leukemia/aids. The organization is currently undergoing a merger with Street Paws to help sustain its operations and continue rescuing and rehoming animals in need.
