About this shelter

Humane Society of Blue Ridge Adoption Center in Blue Ridge, GA

The Humane Society of Blue Ridge Adoption Center is located in Blue Ridge, Georgia, about 60 miles west of Chattanooga, TN, and is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. As a nonprofit humane society run mainly by volunteers, it works to increase public awareness of animal issues, promote respect for all living things, and provide for the welfare of abandoned, injured, or mistreated animals while finding them loving, permanent homes. The organization strives to end the euthanasia of healthy, adoptable animals and offers an affordable spay and neuter program, known as the SNIP Program, along with rabies inoculation services. It also maintains a community dog park at its shelter location for pets to play and exercise.
