About this shelter
Santa Paula Animal Rescue Center in Santa Paula, CA

Founded in 2011, SPARC is the first and only no-kill animal shelter in Ventura County, meaning it does not euthanize animals due to overcrowding, irreparable medical conditions, or behavioral challenges. It operates as a partnership between public and private resources to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home abandoned, stray, and transferred animals, while also providing community education on spay/neuter and vaccination programs. SPARC is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and is closed on Mondays.
