Central Arizona Animal Rescue in Queen Creek, AZ

Central Arizona Animal Rescue (CAAR) is a rescue organization based in Queen Creek, Arizona, roughly 20 miles northwest of Chandler. CAAR is a nonprofit dedicated to the general welfare, sheltering, and placement of animals, the prevention of cruelty and overpopulation, and education about humane treatment. While best known for placing dogs, the rescue has expanded its scope to include a sulcata tortoise enclosure, allowing it to take in and care for these tortoises as well. CAAR relies solely on donations to support its work, from everyday supplies like food and cleaning products to time-sensitive needs such as vaccines.
