As part of Oregon Humane, an independent non-profit that has been bringing people and pets together for more than 150 years, the Salem Campus helps place dogs, cats, small animals, and horses and farm animals into adoptive homes. Oregon Humane receives no government funding and is supported entirely by donors, with programs spanning adoption, veterinary care, education, humane law enforcement, and animal-protection legislation. The organization emphasizes that every connection between humans and animals should make life brighter for both.
