Humane Society of Pinellas in Clearwater, FL

The Humane Society of Pinellas is located in Clearwater, Florida, about 15 miles east of Tampa, and is open daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. It has now joined forces with the Humane Society of Tampa Bay, becoming the Pinellas Campus of that organization, expanding services across both Hillsborough and Pinellas counties. Together, the combined organization offers animal adoption, veterinary and hospital services, spay/neuter and TNVR programs for feral cats, humane education, and pet assistance programs, with a shared mission of leading the way because every life counts. Adopters can find dogs, cats, rabbits, and other pocket pets through the shelter's adoption programs.

Adoption process

Adoptions are handled on a first-come, first-served basis during shelter hours (10 AM–5 PM daily, last adoption at 4:30 PM), with adopters lining up at a designated adoption line; fees vary by animal type and age, and seniors 65+ get a 50% discount on adult cat/dog adoption fees with proof of age.
