Our adoption process includes an adoption fee, a contract, and a home visit. While a fenced yard is preferred, it is not a requirement.

The Junior Humane Society is a non-profit organization staffed entirely by volunteers, dedicated to animal rescue. For the past 26 years, we have rescued pets that their owners can no longer care for, preventing them from being sent to pounds or animal shelters. All animals awaiting adoption are housed in foster homes. Before placing an animal in a permanent home, we ensure that they receive all necessary veterinary care, including vaccinations and spaying or neutering.
