Adoption Process

The adoption process at PDX Guinea Pigs is designed to ensure that each guinea pig finds a loving and suitable home. To begin, interested adopters are encouraged to review the available guinea pigs on our website. Once you have identified a potential pet, the next step is to complete an adoption application. This application helps us understand your living situation and your experience with pets. After submitting the application, a member of our team will reach out to discuss the details and, if appropriate, schedule a meet-and-greet with the guinea pig you are interested in. If all goes well, you will then finalize the adoption by signing an agreement and paying an adoption fee, which helps cover the care of our animals. We are committed to supporting you throughout the transition and are available for any questions or concerns you may have post-adoption.
