Adoption Process

The adoption process includes an in-person interview, completion of an adoption application, and signing an adoption contract. Adoption fees may vary; in 2015, the fee was $65 for one cat and $100 for two cats. Applicants must be over 21 years of age to adopt.

I have been involved in cat rescue and trap/neuter/return initiatives for more than a decade. The Cat Adoption and Foster Association (CAFA) not only advocates for all pets but places a special emphasis on cats and kittens. CAFA rescues abandoned cats and kittens, ensures they receive vaccinations and spaying or neutering, and facilitates their adoption into loving homes.
