Adoption Process

The adoption process begins with an application, followed by an interview and a meet-and-greet session. A fee of $100 is required, and if the adoption proceeds, a two-week foster period begins, accompanied by care paperwork and a contract. If the adoption does not succeed for any reason, the animal must be returned to the shelter. For animal intakes, surrender paperwork is completed, and care and treatment are provided within one week of the animal's arrival at the facility. A preliminary exam is conducted on-site, and measures are taken to ensure the animals' comfort prior to their veterinary visit.

My passion for rabbits began in 2021 when I adopted my first three rabbits. They proved to be wonderful companions and surprisingly easy to care for, which inspired me with the joy they brought into my life. Subsequently, I began volunteering with local animal shelters to adopt their rabbits and provide educational seminars to help reduce the number of rabbits entering shelters due to owners underestimating their care needs. After my initial adoptions from shelters, I developed a deep bond with my rabbits, and I am now taking in rabbits for the shelters with which I previously volunteered. It feels like a fulfilling cycle, and I truly enjoy it.
