Adoption Process

The adoption process begins with applicants submitting an application, which is then reviewed. We contact the applicant's veterinarian and references as part of this process. Following the application review, we conduct a phone conversation, after which a meet and greet is scheduled. If the meet and greet indicates a positive fit, the family will finalize the adoption by completing the adoption agreement and paying the adoption donation. The adoption donation is structured as follows: for cats aged one year and older, the fee is $90; for cats younger than one year, the fee is $110; for dogs aged one year and older, the fee is $300; and for dogs younger than one year, the fee is $400.

Ruff Life Rescue and Rehabilitation, Inc. in Nazareth, PA

RLR is dedicated to rescuing abandoned dogs, as well as those with medical or behavioral challenges, with the aim of rehabilitating and facilitating their adoption. We have recently expanded our efforts to include cats and kittens. Many of the animals we assist have been at risk of euthanasia, and our mission is to provide them with the help they need. We are a non-profit organization operated entirely by volunteers.
