Adoption Process

Individuals interested in adopting must complete an application available on our website. If the application meets our qualifications, we will conduct checks on veterinary and personal references, as well as a background check. Upon successful completion of these checks, we will arrange a home visit. If the home visit meets our standards, the applicant can schedule a meeting with the dog. If both the foster family and the adoptive family are satisfied with the meeting, the applicant will sign a contract and may take the dog home. A donation of $400 is required at this time. The adoptive family will receive the dog's veterinary records along with a copy of the signed contract.
