Adoption Process

The adoption process includes the following steps: 1. Submission of a completed adoption application. 2. A visit to your home or apartment. 3. If necessary, verification with landlords to confirm that pets are permitted. 4. A veterinary reference check. 5. Signing of an adoption agreement. 6. Payment of a fee of $75.00 for each cat or dog adopted.

Animal Rescue Network in Philadelphia, PA

Our mission is to address the issue of cat overpopulation and alleviate animal suffering in the Northwest and Overbrook neighborhoods of Philadelphia. We aim to accomplish this by educating the public about and advocating for Trap, Neuter, Return, Management (TNRM) for feral cats, as well as providing a safe haven and necessary veterinary care for the animals in our care. Animal Rescue Network is affiliated with the New Beginnings Nonprofit Incubator, part of Resources for Human Development, Inc. (RHD), a prominent and diverse nonprofit organization based in Philadelphia that manages approximately 150 programs. The New Beginnings incubator offers small and emerging nonprofit organizations a variety of services and support to help them grow and fulfill their missions. Animal Rescue Network is independently responsible for its fundraising efforts.
