Adoption Process

To begin the adoption process, please complete the application form. A representative will then contact you to discuss the dog you have selected as well as information about you and your family. We will conduct reference checks and schedule a home visit. After these steps are completed, we will invite you to meet the dog you are interested in adopting. If everything goes well during this meeting, you will be able to adopt your new companion. Our adoption fees range from $175 to $250.

Laura's Hope Rescue in Hop Bottom, PA

I have always had a passion for dogs, which led me to start fostering for a rescue organization. Wanting to make a greater impact, I launched my own rescue with an initial investment of $1,000, despite skepticism from others who predicted I would fail within six months. Since then, we have successfully rescued and placed over 200 dogs. As a small rescue, my husband and I handle most of the operations, but we are fortunate to have dedicated volunteers who contribute significantly to our success. We are currently in need of large and extra-large crates. Our goal for 2012 is to build a new facility that will provide the dogs with a more comfortable living environment and allow us to reclaim our home, which has been quite overwhelmed by our rescue efforts.
