Adoption Process

The adoption process begins with the completion of an adoption questionnaire, followed by a personal meeting or interview. Once an applicant is approved, they will sign a contract and receive an information packet, which includes a supply of food. Adoption fees are as follows: Dogs are $200, puppies are $250, cats are $100, and kittens are $150. The adoption fee covers several essential services, including spaying or neutering, microchipping, the first set of vaccinations (FVRCP for cats or DHLPP for dogs), Bordetella vaccination for dogs, heartworm testing for dogs aged six months and older, and Felv/Fiv testing for cats. Additionally, the fee includes general deworming, flea treatment and prevention, and heartworm protection. Adopters will also receive a complimentary bag of Science Diet food, a free office visit at the veterinarian they have chosen, and 30 days of free pet health insurance.

Nicole Thompson is the founder and primary contact. We focus on rescuing stray cats and dogs that do not have homes, and we also facilitate euthanasia rescues from select shelters. Additionally, we accept owner surrenders, primarily for dogs. We strive to welcome back any animal we have previously adopted out, as space allows, if the adopter is unable to keep them. Our mission is to help as many dogs and cats as possible find loving homes and to combat overpopulation by promoting spaying and neutering.
