Angie's Friends in Dallas, TX
Angie's Friends is a non-profit animal welfare organization recognized under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Established in 2008, its primary mission is to assist neglected and abused dogs in economically challenged neighborhoods of Dallas. The organization is named after Angie Manriquez, who is affectionately known in the community as "The Fairy Dogmother of Dallas." Although Angie's Friends was officially founded in 2008, Angie has been dedicated to her mission since 1999.
