We are a small rescue organization dedicated to saving boxers in need. Our mission is to rescue these dogs, provide them with complete veterinary care, and help them find permanent homes. We are currently seeking foster homes to assist us in our efforts. Our rescue work involves taking boxers from kill shelters, those chained in yards, abandoned in rural areas, as well as dogs that have suffered abuse or are being surrendered by their owners. We do not have a physical facility; instead, all of our boxers are placed in foster homes, where they live with families until they are adopted. We rely on our own funding and donations to cover veterinary costs and other expenses, which is why we do charge an adoption fee.

Adoption process

The adoption process involves several steps to ensure a proper match between the applicant and the Boxer. First, interested individuals must complete an online adoption application. We will then verify the applicant's veterinary and personal references. If the application is approved, we will contact the applicant to arrange a home visit. Following the completion of the home visit, if everything is satisfactory, we will proceed with the adoption of the Boxer. A contract must be signed at the time of adoption. Should the Boxer not be a good fit, the adopter can return the dog within seven days for a full refund of the adoption fee. Adoption requirements include the following: - A secure, fenced yard that provides ample space for a Boxer to run and play. - Boxers must be kept as indoor pets. - All existing pets must be spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations and rabies shots, have received an annual veterinary examination, and be on monthly heartworm prevention. We believe that responsible care for current pets indicates that the new rescue Boxer will also be well cared for. - Many of our Boxers are not suitable for households with children under the age of five, and this will be discussed for each individual Boxer. - Many of our Boxers are not compatible with cats. Even if a Boxer passes a cat test, we cannot guarantee the safety of cats in the household. - We reserve the right to deny any adoption application. Adoption fees are structured as follows: - Purebred Boxers aged newborn to 11 months: $275, plus a spay/neuter contract if applicable. - Purebred Boxers aged 1 to 2 years: $250. - Purebred Boxers aged 3 to 4 years: $225. - Purebred Boxers aged 5 years and older: $200. - Boxer mixes of all ages: $175, plus a spay/neuter contract if applicable.
