Adoption Process

If you are interested in adopting any of our pets, please visit our website at www.pawshumanesociety.org. After reviewing your inquiry, we will reach out to you to schedule a meet and greet and to finalize the adoption process. Adoption fees vary depending on the animal.

PAWS Humane Society in Killeen, TX

PAWS Humane Society was established by a group of dedicated animal rescue volunteers with the mission of providing a nurturing environment and essential veterinary care for adoptable animals in local shelters that might not otherwise have the chance for a second life. We believe that educating pet owners and informing them about available resources can help mitigate the overpopulation issues faced by shelters in Bell County and surrounding areas. As a non-profit organization, we operate entirely through volunteer efforts and public donations, without any government funding. We do not have a physical shelter; instead, all of our animals are placed in foster homes until they are ready for permanent adoption.
