Adoption Process

The adoption process includes several steps: submitting an application, conducting a home visit with the family, introducing the potential pet to the family and any existing pets, signing an adoption contract, and paying an adoption fee ranging from $150 to $250. Before the adoption is finalized, the dog will be spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.

PJ's Place Animal Rescue in Houston, TX

PJ's Place is a foster-based organization dedicated to decreasing the number of dogs in shelters while educating the public about responsible pet ownership, including obedience training and spay/neuter programs. Our mission is to ensure dogs remain in happy and healthy homes and out of shelters. Additionally, we are launching a neighborhood feeding program to assist those in need in providing food for their pets during challenging times. We also aim to establish a spay/neuter program that will offer these services at no cost or at a significantly reduced cost to help prevent unwanted litters.
