Adoption Process

The adoption fees are as follows: for dogs that are already spayed or neutered, the fee is $50; for cats, it is $30. If the animal has not been spayed or neutered, the fee for dogs is $50 plus a $50 deposit, and for cats, it is $30 plus a $30 deposit. The owner is required to have the animal spayed or neutered within 30 days to receive the deposit back. The city will follow up to ensure compliance and may impose fines if the requirement is not met. All animals will be vaccinated and dewormed. Animals entering the shelter will receive basic intake vaccinations, including parvo, distemper, rabies, and dewormer, unless proof of current vaccination is provided.
