Adoption Process

All potential adopters are required to complete an application form. We will verify veterinary and personal references, and a home visit will be conducted. Once approved for adoption, the adopter will have the opportunity to meet with the dog and can proceed with the adoption immediately. If the adopter feels that the dog is not the right fit, there is no obligation to adopt. If an animal is adopted, both the adopter and our organization will sign an adoption contract. Adoption fees vary based on the veterinary expenses associated with each animal. We determine our fees by requesting a donation that reflects a portion of the veterinary bill for the adopted animal.
