Adoption Process

The adoption process begins with a four-page application designed to help us determine if the selected dog is a suitable match for the adopter. This process includes an interview conducted by the foster caregiver, and may involve a home inspection. After the initial steps, a contract will be signed, followed by a follow-up contact that may occur via phone call, email, or home visit. Adoption fees range from $150 to $400, depending on the dog's age, size, and breed.

AARF is a non-profit, no-kill organization run entirely by volunteers. Our mission is to assist as many neglected, broken, and forgotten dogs as possible in finding loving homes. We dedicate our time, effort, and compassion to rehabilitating these animals and providing them with a chance for a happy life. We do not discriminate by breed, and we are committed to helping cases of all severity. We view ourselves as healing hands, and we believe that their struggles are our struggles. We rely entirely on donations from the public and grants for our support.
