Adoption Process

An adoption fee of $25 is required for each pet adopted. An optional microchip is available for $20 from the White Settlement Animal Shelter. Prospective adopters will need to answer a few standard questions and complete an application. Additionally, it is mandatory to have the adopted pet spayed or neutered within one month of the adoption date.

We primarily collaborate with animals from the White Settlement Animal Shelter and the surrounding community. Additionally, we organize adoption events throughout the western Fort Worth, Texas area.

West Side Animal League in White Settlement, TX

This organization is a volunteer group dedicated to supporting local shelter pets. We promote the adoption of homeless animals through various initiatives, including posts on craigslist.com, adoption events, fundraisers, and shelter dog walking days. Our volunteers are committed to finding a permanent home for every pet. We actively support one another in this mission, sharing tips and techniques for addressing various pet-related issues such as obedience, housetraining, and behavior problems. In addition to our adoption and fundraising activities, we gather at the shelter to walk dogs, care for cats, provide them with treats, and take photos for promotional purposes.
