Adoption Process

The adoption process involves several steps to ensure a smooth transition for both the pet and the adopter. First, you will need to submit an adoption application along with the application fee. Following this, a volunteer from 3CLR will conduct a home visit to assess the suitability of your living environment for a pet. Next, a meet and greet will be arranged, allowing you to interact with the dog(s) you are interested in adopting. If you decide to proceed with the adoption, you will sign the adoption contract, pay the adoption fee, and take your new companion home. All our dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption and are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm preventative, and microchipped. Additionally, all dogs over six months old have undergone a negative heartworm test. The adoption fees are as follows: Puppies under one year of age are $500, adults ages one to six years are $350, and seniors aged six years and older are $300.
