Adoption Process

The adoption process includes several important steps to ensure a successful match between the pet and the new owner. First, we conduct a landlord check to confirm that the prospective adopter is permitted to have pets in their residence. Next, we perform a veterinary check to verify the adopter's history with pet care. Additionally, we conduct three reference checks to gather insights about the applicant's suitability as a pet owner. A home visit is also required to assess the living environment for the pet. Adoption fees vary according to the age of the animal, ranging from $55 to $75 for cats and kittens, and from $150 to $275 for dogs and puppies.
