Adoption Process

The adoption process includes a phone screening followed by a home visit. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and must provide an indoor living environment for the pet. There is a fee of $65, and an adoption contract will need to be signed.

The service areas include all five boroughs of New York City, as well as Westchester County, Nassau County, and Suffolk County.

We are a non-profit organization operated entirely by volunteers. Our main objectives are to rescue stray, abandoned, and unwanted pet rabbits, find the most suitable adoptive homes for them, and reduce the ongoing influx of rabbits into shelters through targeted education efforts.
