Adoption Process

We require the submission of a comprehensive adoption application. We conduct vet and reference checks, followed by a meeting between you and the pet or foster animal. Finally, we will finalize the process with an adoption contract and fee.

Our service area encompasses all of Minnesota, with a primary focus on locations within a one-hour radius of Delano, Minnesota.

Amanda's Farm Animal Rescue (AFAR) was established out of a lifelong commitment to animal welfare. Our mission is to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable creatures that have been abandoned or neglected. While we primarily focus on horses and cats, we are prepared to assist any outdoor animal in need. We believe that every animal, regardless of size, deserves to be valued. Through our dedicated care and compassion, we aim to provide them with a second opportunity for a fulfilling and joyful life. Our main objective is to restore the health of these animals and ensure they feel loved. We offer them a safe space to adjust, provide veterinary care, and address any health concerns they may have. We are committed to finding the most suitable forever homes for these animals, where they will be cherished and can continue to thrive.
