Adoption Process

All applicants are required to complete an application, which will be processed through a basic background check, veterinary reference, personal references, and a home visit. Applicants must also participate in a meet and greet with the animal they are interested in adopting. If they have other pets, those pets will need to meet the potential new family member as well. Applicants must wait at least 24 hours to make a decision about proceeding with the adoption, although some exceptions may apply based on distance. Adoption fees will vary depending on the age of the dog, ranging from $300 to $350. All adoptions will be finalized with a contract.
