Adoption Process

To begin the adoption process, applicants are required to submit an adoption application. This is followed by background and reference checks, and a home visit conducted by a qualified volunteer. A report from the home visit will be submitted to the Board of Directors for review. If the application is approved, the applicant will have the opportunity to meet the dogs available for adoption. Should the applicant choose to adopt, a detailed contract must be signed, along with an adoption donation that ranges from $250 to $500.
