Adoption Process

Applicants are required to complete an application and receive approval before scheduling an appointment to meet the dog. All family members, including existing pets, must meet the dog prior to finalizing the adoption. At the time of adoption, a contract will be signed, stipulating that the dog must be returned to Affinity Rescue if the adopter is unable to keep the dog.

We have been engaged in foster care for four years and will continue to volunteer with Madison Mutts to the best of our ability. We are a collective of foster homes dedicated to preparing rescued dogs for adoption into their permanent homes. We provide training and medical care for all the dogs in our program. Our aim is to involve local youth organizations, such as foster care groups and 4-H clubs, in the care of these dogs. Ultimately, we aspire to establish a large property that includes a training center.
