Adopting from Ballydídean Farm Sanctuary

Adoption process

We facilitate the placement of farmed animals in pet homes. Our adoption process includes an interview and a virtual walkthrough of the enclosures where the adopted animals will reside, ensuring that all expectations are met. Prospective adopters also have the chance to meet the animals in person at our sanctuary located on Whidbey Island, near Seattle. We charge a nominal adoption fee of up to $250, depending on the specific animal, and require adopters to sign a contract outlining the care and treatment expected for the animal.

Service area: Our service areas include Island County, Snohomish County, San Juan County, King County, Pierce County, Kitsap County, Skagit County, and Jefferson County.
