Adoption Process

The adoption process includes submitting an application, completing a veterinary check, and undergoing a home visit. Adoption fees range from $125 to $250, and an adoption agreement must be signed.

We rescue as many Dalmatians, including mixed breeds, as possible from Florida shelters facing euthanasia due to overcapacity or health concerns. When we have the capacity, we also assist Dalmatians in shelters located out of state. We collaborate with local shelters to help place Dalmatians by promoting their availability through advertisements in local newspapers. Our organization conducts thorough screenings of prospective adopters, including home visits and veterinary reference checks. Our care-for-life sanctuary, along with foster homes, accommodates up to 20 Dalmatians that are unable to find homes due to age or health issues. We offer ongoing support and education to all adopters, ensuring they are well-prepared for their new pets. All Dalmatians we place are spayed or neutered and receive necessary medical treatment prior to adoption.
