Adoption Process

The adoption process begins with submitting an application. Our rescue volunteers strive to review applications promptly; however, we are unable to contact every applicant. Only the most qualified applicants will receive a response. Once your application is approved, the subsequent steps, which typically take 2 to 3 days, will commence. Please ensure you are ready to adopt and bring a dog home within this timeframe. An interview will be conducted via phone. Following the interview, a home check will usually take place within 24 to 72 hours. On the same day, you will have the opportunity to meet the pet. If the meeting is successful, you will proceed to sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. At this point, you will be able to take your newly adopted dog home with you.
