Adoption Process

We rescue dogs from kill shelters and place them with foster families or trial adopters. Each adoption includes a two-week trial period. An adoption donation is required after this trial, at which point a certificate of ownership is issued. We also accept animals surrendered by their owners to ensure they do not enter the shelter system. Our process involves checking references for all applicants and conducting home inspections. Many of our dogs are transported from California to Seattle once we have secured a foster or trial adopter for them.

We are a dedicated group of volunteers committed to rescuing as many animals on death row as possible. Our efforts are entirely supported by a network of foster homes and trial adopters, as we do not operate a physical facility. We believe that animals in shelters deserve a second chance and that euthanasia is not a solution.
