Dog Rescue Around Washington was established in 2004 by four women dedicated to animal rescue, united by their shared values and passion for helping dogs in need. We maintain several foster homes throughout the Northwest, where we primarily rescue dogs from local shelters, particularly those at risk of euthanasia. Our mission is to place as many temperamentally sound dogs as possible into responsible homes. To achieve this, we invest time in understanding each adoptable dog, providing socialization and training as necessary. We address all medical needs, from routine care to more extensive treatments. Through collaboration with other rescue organizations, we have saved numerous lives since our inception. We consider our adopters part of our family and are committed to supporting them for the lifetime of their pets. When you adopt from us, you gain a resource for guidance and assistance during any challenges that may arise. Although the dog is now your responsibility, we believe it is our duty to support you in ensuring a successful and fulfilling life for your new companion.
