Churchill Animal Protection Society (CAPS) is a nonprofit shelter based in the rural community of Fallon, Nevada, established in 1986. As a 501(c)(3) organization, CAPS is dedicated to caring for homeless dogs and cats by offering immediate medical assistance, essential spay and neuter surgeries, secure housing, and educational resources for pet owners. The ultimate goal is to find loving homes for these animals, who deserve a second chance. Without the support of our compassionate community, many of these pets would face dire outcomes.

Adoption process

The adoption fee for dogs is $80 and for cats is $50. For dog adoptions, it is required to have a fenced yard that is at least 6 feet high. A meet and greet with all family members and any resident dogs is mandatory. Dogs should be permitted to be both indoors and outdoors. For cat adoptions, cats must be kept indoors only and should not be declawed.
