Adoption Process

The adoption process begins with a trial placement, allowing for a foster-to-adopt arrangement. Interested adopters must fill out a foster application. We conduct a home visit and, if necessary, a meet-and-greet with any current pets. We require that all current pets be spayed or neutered and that renters provide proof of landlord approval. We ask for a minimum of two weeks to assess the fit between the animal and the home during the foster period. If the match is successful, we proceed to finalize the adoption contract. The adoption fee for all dogs is $105. For cats over six months, the fee is $65, and for kittens under six months, it is $100. All dogs are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped. All cats are also spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations, microchipped, and have undergone snap testing.

We are a non-breed-specific dog and cat rescue organization as well as a community outreach initiative. We recognize the significant bond between people and their pets. In our mission to create a safer and happier life for animals, we also discovered that our efforts positively impact people. Through various owner support programs, we aim to keep pets in their original homes by providing food, veterinary care, training assistance, and additional support. We work with survivors of domestic abuse, veterans, seniors, the homeless, and children to ensure access to services, facilitate family placements, and educate and inspire the next generation to take action. Our organization is entirely volunteer-run and depends solely on community support.
