Adoption Process

The adoption process includes submitting an application, engaging in a conversation with an experienced volunteer, and completing a landlord and/or veterinary check if applicable. There is an adoption fee that ranges from $300 to $400.

We employ research- and evidence-based practices to enhance the adoption process and improve the likelihood of successful matches between animals and their new families. All individuals involved with Petey and Furends are volunteers who generously contribute their time and compassion to care for the animals.
