Adoption Process

The adoption process includes several steps: an initial application, a background check, and a home visit. Once these steps are completed, an adoption contract will be signed. Adoption fees typically amount to $350 for puppies, $250 for adult altered dogs, and $150 for senior dogs. Requirements for adopters are assessed on a case-by-case basis, depending on the specific needs of each individual dog.

Knine Rescue is a non-profit organization committed to the care and protection of animals. We support shelters and other rescue organizations and take on tasks referred to us through word of mouth. Our mission is to promote responsible pet ownership and to take on the responsibilities of animal care when others are unable or unwilling to do so. We operate as a virtual facility, relying on a network of foster homes and volunteers. Founded in 2005 by an individual who was not allowed to have pets as a child, the organization continues to honor her legacy, carried on by those whose lives she influenced until her passing in 2012.
