Help Save Pets

Adoption Process

The adoption process includes several steps: submitting an application, participating in an interview, and undergoing a screening. An adoption contract must be signed, and an adoption fee ranging from $50 to $100 is required. Applicants must provide proof of homeowner or lease permission and demonstrate financial stability. Only independent adults may apply, and households with small children or dogs, particularly herding breeds, will not be considered unless assessed individually. There are also specific housing size requirements, and the pet must be kept indoors. Additionally, applicants must have an exotic veterinarian reference and should have already educated themselves about exotic pets.

We are a multi-species sanctuary dedicated to providing care for unadoptable, ill, or infirm animals. Our focus includes behavioral work and hospice care for these animals.
