Adoption Process

Our adoption process begins with an initial application, where potential adopters provide information about their household and their familiarity with the species they wish to adopt. Following this, we conduct a phone screening to discuss their responses in detail and confirm that they do not intend to breed the animal. We also require photos of the enclosure and carrier intended for the animal. Additionally, there is an adoption contract and a fee associated with the adoption.

The Vegan Animal Rescue is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming often overlooked pets. Our primary focus is on small animals, including rodents like rats, mice, and hamsters, as well as guinea pigs and rabbits. We strive to provide a vegan diet for these animals, with the exception of species such as bearded dragons that require meat. We believe that all animals deserve love and respect, and we operate entirely through a foster-based system.
