Pit Crew Sacramento Rescue in Lincoln, CA

Pit Crew Sacramento is a dedicated organization comprised of experienced owners and advocates of Pit Bull and Bully breeds. Our mission is to support "America's Dog" by challenging negative stereotypes and promoting Pit Bulls as loyal and loving family members who enhance the lives of their owners. Located in Sacramento, California, Pit Crew Sacramento focuses on rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs from shelters. We carefully place these dogs with responsible foster and adoptive families and provide ongoing education and socialization support throughout their lives. We specifically rescue dogs that are at risk of euthanasia or are categorized as high-risk. We do not accept owner surrenders, as we believe it is the owner's responsibility to find a safe and suitable home for their pet if they can no longer care for them. It is important to note that approximately 70% of dogs in shelters are classified as "Pit Bulls" or "Pit Bull Mixes." Only one in 500 of these dogs will find a home, while the majority face euthanasia. We are committed to reducing the homeless Pit Bull population by ensuring that all rescued dogs are spayed or neutered. Additionally, we engage in community outreach events that provide spaying, neutering, vaccination, and microchipping services for pets throughout Northern California. Our organization is devoted to saving the lives of Pit Bulls that have suffered neglect, abuse, or abandonment. As a foster-based rescue, we do not operate a physical facility; all of our rescue dogs live in foster homes, making foster families essential to our mission. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we rely entirely on public donations and fundraising efforts to support our rescue initiatives. Pit Crew Sacramento is operated entirely by volunteers who are passionate about Pit Bulls and committed to changing perceptions of this often-misunderstood breed.
