Greater California German Shepherd Rescue in Modesto, CA
Greater California German Shepherd Rescue is a public charity non-profit organization under section 501(c)(3). We are a dedicated group of volunteers who are passionate about German Shepherds, focused on rescuing these dogs from at-risk situations and placing them in permanent, loving homes with responsible owners. Our service area includes the communities surrounding Modesto, Merced, Greater Sacramento, and South Lake Tahoe, with occasional assistance to parts of the North and East San Francisco Bay area. With the exception of a small region in Nevada near Lake Tahoe, we primarily adopt dogs within our designated area, as there are many German Shepherds in need of homes in these communities.

Adoption process
The adoption fees are structured as follows: $100 for senior or special needs animals, $300 for young or adult animals, and $350 for puppies.
