My name is Jessica Zamora, and I run an independent micro rescue in Manteca, California. I have been involved in animal rescue for over nine years, gaining valuable experience from three different shelters and rescues before establishing my own. My initial motivation stemmed from my love for cats, but I became more dedicated to this work upon realizing the high rates of euthanasia in shelters when no foster or rescue options are available. In Manteca, there is only one other rescue that accepts kittens, and that organization does not care for bottle-fed infants, focusing primarily on trap-neuter-return (TNR) programs. I am passionate about this work and believe our community needs a dedicated place for orphaned kittens.
