Adoption Process

Once an individual identifies a pet they are interested in on our website and reaches out to us, we will respond as promptly as possible. We require potential adopters to complete an application. If the application meets our criteria, we will arrange a meeting between the prospective adopter and the pet. As part of our process, we conduct home checks to ensure that the living environment is safe for the pet. During the home check, the pet will be brought to your residence, and if everything is satisfactory, the pet will be placed with you. An adoption fee will be required, and a contract must be signed. We offer a two-week trial period during which the adoption fee will be refunded if the match is not successful. After the trial period, the adoption fee becomes non-refundable.

Service Areas

We serve the areas of Los Angeles, Lancaster, Palmdale, Valencia, and Bakersfield.

Paw Parent in Lancaster, CA

Our mission is to advocate for all companion animals, ensuring that none endure the tragedies of being confined in a pound system, where many are euthanized simply for being unwanted and homeless. Animals that come to our sanctuary will receive exceptional care and necessary medical attention, whether for a short period until they are adopted or throughout their lifetime. The sustainability of the sanctuary relies entirely on the support and donations from our supporters, members, and volunteers. Through their generous contributions, we can save countless lives in the future.
